Ultherapy employs ultrasound waves that penetrate through the skin’s surface, delivering energy to the appropriate depths and temperatures. This triggers a natural regenerative response under the skin, reinforcing weak collagen and generating fresh collagen. The use of ultrasound imaging ensures that the treatment energy is delivered accurately.

One of our specialists will cleanse your skin and apply a topical numbing cream. You may also be given anti-inflammatory medication like ibuprofen, as well as medication to help you relax throughout the procedure.

A cooling gel will be applied to your skin to optimize the conduction of ultrasound waves. A transducer will then be used on the surface of your skin to administer the treatment. The duration of the procedure can range from 1 to 2 hours, depending on the size or number of areas being treated.

While some patients may experience mild bruising, this is not common. Temporary tenderness or numbness in the treated areas may occur, but there is no required downtime.
